Hi there, here is another posting for Malaysia Airlines.

2 posts in a row for MAS!!! What should I say now is MAS will receives its B737-800 in the Q4 of 2010. MAS will be receiving its B737-800 will a total orders of 35 and this is to believe that MAS will replace all the Boeing B737-400 these new B737-800. I had read through some news regarding the latest news about the B737-800 of MAS. if I'm not mistaken, MAS will be having the B737-800 with a special Boeing designed air cabin which is to believe as 1 of the world's first airliners to use it in the B737s. So, let us wait for the moments where MAS will give us more surprise.

Here are the articles that I can found on the web.http://www.malaysia.com/news/2009/10/mas-to-take-delivery-of-35-b737-800-in-q4-of-2010/ .

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will take delivery of 35 firm orders of B737-800 aircraft from the fourth quarter of next year which will be used for domestic routes, Asean countries, South Asia and China.

“It has the option for another 20 planes,” said MAS managing director and chief executive officer Tengku Datuk Azmil Zahruddin told a media briefing.

Hereby, "Freedom Of Space" will shows a photo regarding the MAS's Boeing B737-800.

The above B737-800 is a leased aircraft while waiting for MAS's new B737-800 arrives in 2010. This aircraft is set to be replacing the older B737-400 which you can seen in the back of this aircraft.

Malaysia Ailrines will receive A380

Hello there... I think that this title will let all the aviation lovers especially for those in Malaysia a big WOW. Why I will say that? Let's check out some factors that I personally think that they will do this. For Malaysia Airlines (MAS), there are a few challenign factors that had been directly affect the delivery or purchasing of the latest Airbus A380. Just a couple of years ago, MAS plans to cancel the order of 6s A380 due to a economical crisis. However, MAS still carry on the order of 6 A380s and is expected to be delivered before this. The decission that MAS made had caused the Airbus A380 delivery timing slower down. Besides the MAS's factors that mentioned above, the Airbus SAS is also experiencing a slow manufacturing time line for the new A380s. The first A380 is expected to fly a few years ago with a commercial airline which is believe to be Sinagpore Airline (SIA) had succesfully launched just a year ago. So what can you expect from that right... The delay of manufacturing the "giant" A380 had caused a few major problems but then hopefully the deliveries of its new A380s will be smooth here. Currently, the airliners such as Singapore Airline, Air France, Qantas and Emirates are operating the new A380s and it is expected have more airliners will be operating it, of course MAS is one of them.

Just come back to the title now, MAS is set to receive its new A380s in 2011. So, this is a really big surprise for us rite!! After waiting for a long time, MAS will be having 6 new Airbus A380 and compete with the other famous airliners. Hopefully this news will comes true and bring a great nice MAS livery for the A380 and touch down on the tarmac of KLIA and of course have a grand welcoming ceremony.

The below is the news that I read regarding to this matter. I had crop out the highlight part of this title here. The original link of this article is http://www.malaysia.com/news/2009/10/mas-to-take-delivery-of-35-b737-800-in-q4-of-2010/.

He (MAS managing director and chief executive officer Tengku Datuk Azmil Zahruddin) said MAS will take delivery of six A380 aircraft beginning 2011 which will be flown for high-density destinations such as London, Sydney and Amsterdam.

So, let us wait for the moments to come real in Malaysia. Wish that we can see the "giant bird" with full MAS original livery touchdown on our land with carrying the registration no. of (9M)!!!

AK cancelling Kuala Lumpur - Tianjin route

Its another sad posting here where the well known low cost carrier of Malaysia, Air Asia (AK) will be cancelling its Kuala Lumpur to Tianjin route. Will this cancellation be permanently or temporary only? Lets check out for the second part here.

I personally had read through the post in Air Asia's official blog when I am visiting it. So, what should I say or describe now? I think I will just copy the text and let the visitors have a view since it is talking about the same matter. The below text is originally crop from Air Asia's official blog.

A notification to all guests about our Tianjin flights. We regret to announce that we have to temporarily suspend our Tianjin services from 23 Nov 2009 to 31 January 2010 due to adverse winter conditions and very poor demand, making the flights unviable. We expect to resume services to Tianjin from 1 Feb 2010.

We are sure a lot of you will have some questions, and we hope with the answers below will provide enough information for now.

1.Why is the Tianjin flight suspended?
AirAsia is suspending the flight due to adverse weather conditions. This is our first foray into the Tianjin market and to consider the weather factor, we have decided to postpone the route until Februrary for closer monitoring.

2.Will this be temporary?
If yes, when will the flight resume?
The management of AirAsia will be monitoring and reviewing the case. As of today, we have temporarily suspended flights between 23/11/09 and 31/1/2010. Flights are likely to resume anytime between the first half of next year pending assessment of the current situation.

3.How will AirAsia compensate the guests who are affected?
Affected passengers will be given a full refund.

4.How has the affected guests been notified of the suspension of the Kuala Lumpur- Tianjin route?
Guests have been notified via email, and sms notification has been carried out.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and we will keep everyone updated on this.

Thank you for your kind understanding.

The above articles or notifications can be seen in http://blog.airasia.com/index.php/notification-cancellation-of-tianjin-fli-2010.
The Air Asia's official blog webpage is http://www.blog.airasia.com/.

So thats mean AK will have a cancellation from 23 November 2009 till 31 January 2010. Its kinda sad news for the travellers who travel from Kuala Lumpur to Tianjin. Actually the above route is served by Air Asia X (D7) which flies an Airbus A330 and A340. However, hope that AK or better to said that D7 will be reactivate its route so that it provide more convinience to the travellers between both of the countries.
