Jetstar Airways is having its 5th Birthday Sales from now onwards!! Firstly I would like to wish Jetstar "Happy Birthday" in advance. Okay, let's look on what Jetstar will gives us in conjunction of the birthday sales this year.
Do you know about Jetstar? Here, JetStar can be said as a part of Qantas, national carrier of Australia. However, Jetstar (JQ) is a low cost carrier based in Australia. However, the first flight of sister airline, Jetstar Asia Airways had launched somewhere around 2004. This marked Qantas' entry into the Asian low-cost market and signified its intention to battle key competitor SingaporeAirlines on its home ground. Qantas has a 42.5% stake in Jetstar Asia's ownership and yet Jetstar Asia (3K) is also 1 of the competitor for Silk Air, a low cost carrier from Singapore.
Although 3K is another sister airline of JQ, but the airline still carry a big star logo at the tail of the aircraft used. The differences is just only the name from Jetstar to Jetstar Asia. The people are still call this 3K as Jetstar nowadays. Currently Jetstar Asia (3k) operates 9 Airbus A320-200 with 11 routes in South East Asia. Jetstar Asia aircraft feature leather seats with a seat pitch of 30 inches and free online seat selection and allocation. Passengers are required to purchase the food and drinks onboard with its programme called "Star Cafe" because its a low cost carrier just like the others LCC airliners do.
Alrite, now let's move back to the title again. 3K is now offering its passenger a big birthday sales. For the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore route, 3K will have a promotion of RM9 for its base fare and for the route from Kuala Lumpur to Darwin via Singapore will be having a base fare from as low as SGD 168. And yet, there are many promotional routes as publish on their official website. So, have a look on the sales & promotional page now.
